A few weeks ago, CILC director Anne-Marie Bruist informed the Executive Board, the Supervisory Board and the staff that for personal reasons she would leave CILC. It is with great disappointment that now, exactly two years after Anne-Marie joined CILC as Acting Director and later as its new Director, Anne-Marie and CILC will go different paths again. With great pleasure can we look back not only at her role in managing the organization through a turbulent time but also at her role in driving forward the EU-funded cooperation project with Suriname, as well as the “Voice of the Child” project in the area of training the European judiciary.

CILC is very grateful for the leadership of Anne-Marie in the last two years and wishes her all the best in her further career.

The Supervisory Board appointed Deputy Director Eric Vincken as Acting Director as of 5 September 2025.
