Role
I joined CILC in August 2025 as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing the portfolio in the MENA region and Suriname. My responsibilities span the full project cycle, from development and design to monitoring and implementation. In addition, I contribute to policy and knowledge development, capacity building and strategic stakeholder engagement. I work alongside a team of talented and passionate colleagues and have the privilege of collaborating with a network of inspiring and knowledgeable experts.
Experience & Expertise
I hold a background in European Studies with a specialization in Public Administration, complemented by a degree in Development Studies and further training in Conflict Resolution and Transitional Justice. Over the past 20 years, I have worked on capacity-building initiatives across Africa, Latin America, and Asia, focusing on public service delivery, civil society strengthening, and institutional development in different thematic areas with a particular interest to security and the rule of law. My added value lies in bridging policy and practice, translating strategic frameworks into meaningful, on-the-ground impact.
Passion & Vision
I am deeply committed to justice sector reform, recognizing that a stable and reliable rule of law is essential for sustainable development. My work is driven by principles of local ownership, reciprocity, a demand-driven approach and lasting impact. I believe that meaningful investment in human capital in the judicial and security sectors is the most effective pathway to institutional resilience and systemic change.
