In 2025, European Union Police Assistance for BiH – EUPA4BiH, funded by the European Union, focused on what matters most: trust, cooperation, and shared ownership. Over the past year, EUPA4BiH has worked closely with police agencies, prosecutors’ offices, judicial institutions, ministries, police academies, civil society organisations, and international partners across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through joint activities, continuous coordination, and targeted capacity-building support, the project has contributed to strengthening institutional cooperation, enhancing professional capacities, and supporting the practical application of EU standards in the areas of security, rule of law, and law enforcement cooperation.
Through continuous dialogue, joint activities, and close alignment with BiH priorities, EUPA4BiH helped law enforcement institutions work better together: building a stronger system and reinforcing the country’s path toward the European Union.
We are pleased to share with you the publication EUPA4BiH Highlights – 2025 edition, capturing the key milestones and achievements from the project’s first year of implementation.
The EUPA4BIH highlights publication provides an overview of major thematic areas, partnerships, and flagship activities, as well as reflections on how shared ownership and trust have translated into concrete progress on the ground.
We invite you to explore the publication and learn more about the milestones achieved together, as well as the foundations laid for the period ahead.
This project is funded by the European Commission.
