On November 26 2019, a powerful earthquake hit Albania taking 51 lives, leaving hundreds of others wounded and thousands more homeless. The damages caused by the earthquake are enormous, as it hit some of the most populated areas in the coastal city of Durrës as well as the capital Tirana and its surroundings.
In the name of solidarity and assistance for all those affected, the government of Albania has created an Emergency Fund for those who wish to donate.
