Indonesia // Continued cooperation to improve training of judges

CILC has been awarded a Tailormade Training Plus project funded by the Orange Knowledge Program of Nuffic.  The new project builds on a collaboration between the judicial training institutes from the Netherlands and Indonesia which goes back to 2010. The project aims at strengthening the skills of trainers of the Judicial Training Centre in Indonesia, so that they can develop and deliver competence-based trainings for judges. The project will also support the training centre in offering trainings to judges from other parts of the Indonesian peninsula. Therefore, the partners will expand the application of e-learning in judicial education and promote its use by trainers and trainees. Trainers will acquire the didactical skills for enrolling the new initial training programme for judges and there will be a special focus on new trainings on ethics and integrity. The Judicial Training Centre in Indonesia will benefit from a new information management system which will enable training managers to get better insight in the quality of delivered trainings, keep track of the number of participants, the number of trainings delivered and the evaluations from trainers and trainees.

The project has started on 15th April 2020 and will end on 30 April 2021.\
