The Leaders for Justice community has recently launched the series of interviews “THE PEOPLE OF JUSTICE. In dialogue with Liana Alexandru”. In this series, which can be watched on the community’s  YouTube channel with English subtitles, thirteen young justice professionals talk about their work and their personal lives, in an attempt to connect justice and society through human stories. More information about these interviews can be found (in Romanian) here on the Leaders for Justice website.

The series was produced taking inspiration from the 2015 season of the Dutch public TV series “Kijken in de Ziel” (looking into the soul), where twelve Dutch judges are interviewed among other professional groups about themselves and their work. At the request of the Netherlands Embassy to Bucharest, CILC produced Romanian subtitles for these interviews. This allowed them to be screened in Romania and Moldova as part of cooperation projects funded by the Dutch government, targeting law students and young legal professionals.

Leaders for Justice is a community of young legal professionals who share values and ideas and take an active role in society, with the aim of improving the justice system in Romania and of consolidating the rule of law. The CILC team salutes their efforts and inspiring initiatives.
